Camp Goals
Young Women's Camp is an outdoor experience for all young women eligible to participate in the Young Women program where they will have opportunities to:
  • Strengthen their faith and testimonies of Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ
  • Feel the Spirit of the Lord
  • Gather together and separate from worldly influences
  • Grow in unity and love
  • Appreciate God’s beautiful creations
  • Have fun
As a part of the camp experience, your daughter will be photographed participating in camp experiences. These photographs will be compiled into a Google photo album and shared on our website and some of the pictures will be compiled into a slideshow or put in an online Rocklin Stake Facebook post.

Location & Facilities
Treasure Mountain is a beautiful camp located approximately 1¾ hours drive up I-80 from Rocklin. Camp facilities include wonderful cabin-like yurts (without electricity), bathrooms with flushing toilets, showers with hot water, a kitchen and dining area, a medical cabin, craft area, shooting ranges for Archery, BB guns, a throwing area for Tomahawks, Ropes Challenge Course, stage, and a pond for playing in with a zip line and water toys. Our 4th Level girls experience a backpacking hike which covers spectacular terrain. These Young Women will see spectacular views with meadows, alpine lakes, streams and waterfalls.

Camp Staff
Our camp is led by dozens of women and men volunteer leaders from The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints who contribute to the young women's experiences by donating their time and talents. As a team, they have expertise in outdoor skills, adventure sports, games and activities, music, crafts, food and nutrition, medical care, teaching, and gospel living.

Camp Eligibility
Camp is for all young women eligible to participate in the Young Women program (anyone turning 12 years old in the camp year through incoming high school seniors). Other YW who meet these age requirements and are willing to abide by Church standards (below) may also be included. Leaders will determine which young women will be old enough by the date of the camp and invite them to participate. Parents and leaders may counsel together on any exceptions to the age guideline with consideration of maturity and peer relationships. (Handbook 2: Administering the Church [2010], 10.8.6.)  Friends are invited to attend!  Click here or below to learn about our Standards for Youth.
